Union Technology Corp. offers a range of capacitors for military and space applications. These high reliability capacitors have extremely low ESR and low ESL and are typically used in input and output filters of SMPS as well as for other high current applications. The standard operating temperature range is -55C to 125C.
UTC is qualified to MIL-PRF-49470 "B" Level for standard military applications and MIL-PRF-49470 "T" level for space applications. This MIL specification was created to produce a robust replacement of DSCC 87106. UTC continues to support customer requirements for DSCC drawing 87106 that are used in legacy military designs.
